Apprenticeship Contract – Full-time – Paris Or Long Internship (minimum 6 months)

 

Your missions and main activities

1. Support project development and assist the team in decision-making by:

  • Conducting regulatory monitoring on carbon, biodiversity, taxation and associated rights in the countries where the company operates.
  • Conducting analyses to optimize project implementation and support internal decision-making (institutional and thematic analyses: Carbon, Biodiversity) in close collaboration with the public relations officer and the wider team.
  • Drafting LinkedIn posts to promote aDryada’s positioning on key issues for our market.

2. Support the deployment of biodiversity certificates in countries where aDryada operates

The OBC pilot countries where members are active aim to demonstrate the relevance of the market-based approach presented by OBC at COP16 in Cali (October 2024) and to provide on-the-ground answers to key questions in order to build an effective certification system. aDryada aims to deploy OBC biodiversity certificates in the countries where it operates in collaboration with other local actors.

In this context, the intern will contribute to deployment by:

  • Supporting the definition of the OBC biodiversity plan for aDryada’s projects in collaboration with the team.
  • Gathering data (regulations, stakeholders, etc.) from host countries and other OBC members involved in deployment to prepare a country-level deployment proposal in collaboration with other OBC members.
  • Drafting relevant documents to support the overall deployment of the plan (analyses, presentations for authorities, etc.).

3. Support the day-to-day management of OBC

The intern will contribute to the day-to-day operations of the association by:

  • Representing the association and managing its activities:
    • Representing aDryada within the OBC Board, Executive Committee and General Assembly and drafting meeting minutes.
    • Preparing and co-facilitating association meetings, certain technical groups and country groups (market pilot deployment).
  • Drafting LinkedIn posts in close coordination with another member’s communication officer.

Profile required

  • Master’s degree (final year) in Biodiversity, Environment, Public Affairs, International Law, etc.
  • Passion for nature restoration topics.
  • Excellent written and spoken English.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Curiosity and interest in diverse fields such as sociology, economics, government policy, environment, etc.
  • Proactive and able to make suggestions while considering other stakeholders’ perspectives.
  • Strong writing skills with excellent spelling and grammar and able to produce high-quality deliverables in both content and form.
  • Recognized ability to:
    • Listen to stakeholders, analyze their needs and meet their expectations.
    • Research, collect and obtain information.
    • Analyze and synthesize data from varied sources (socio-economic, thematic, etc.).
  • Enjoy versatility and working in a small, human-scale structure (< 15 employees).
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and design tools.

Terms of employment

  • Apprenticeship contract or long internship.
  • Collective agreement: Syntec.
  • Workplace: Paris with possibility of remote work (1 day per week).
  • Start date: January 2026.
  • Duration: 12 months (apprenticeship) or minimum 6 months (internship).
